We had our wedding with Mantells in December 2025. We cannot praise more highly the wonderful Mantells team. We were particularly grateful for their responsive communication throughout the planning process and on the night, the delicious food guests were (and are still!) raving about, and the professional and attentive service. We felt so lucky to be in such safe and experienced hands and would fully recommend Mantells for a wedding or special event!

As a wedding photographer, Mantells Mt Eden is one of my favourite and most recommended wedding venues. There really isn't anything else like it in Auckland that has the European/Tuscany vibe like this. They have various indoor areas that make for great photos before the ceremony or for portraits of the couple. The indoor outdoor flow is great, and on a nice day guests have a lot of space to move about. The venue itself feels very cosy and has a great ambiance, especially with the outdoor fire and the candles. I always feel that the staff are really welcoming and accommodating. Now for the food. It is amazing! As a vendor, I have tried the food at many wedding venues, and I can honestly say Mantells serves some of the best i've ever eaten! I don't like eggplant, but somehow, they made it the tastiest thing on my plate! For bridal portrait photos, you don't really need to go offsite and can have these photos around the venue quite easily. But there are some good locations close by (such as Mount Eden) that are good options to easily sneak away to. Highly recommend Mantells Mt Eden and I personally can't wait for the next wedding I get to photography at this venue!
