I can't express how much I love this place. The bookstore has a very wide repertoire on almost all topics but is especially abundant in books on naval topics, history in general and the state of Veracruz. You can take and read the books in any of the available armchairs (where they can also bring you drinks and food) or go to a small outdoor space to read while you eat or drink something (although it seems to me that many people come just to sit and talk, which is also very good). Additionally, on the first floor there is a reading area for children. The food and drinks are quite tasty and the prices are very reasonable, the portions are sensible and the atmosphere is very pleasant. The staff is very attentive and friendly, they brought me a book from the Boca branch at no additional cost and the truth is I would return to Veracruz just for this place. I understand that in addition to everything they have cultural events that unfortunately you cannot attend. Another thing, some boys and girls from the school next door go and take refuge in this place, some eat, many others just go to talk among themselves (which some adults also do) and according to what others told me, they have finished entire books. in what they wait for whatever they are waiting for. I find it admirable that there are places like this that allow young people to have a space where they feel comfortable and can read at their leisure.

Beautiful place, a lot of variety of works and sections. Excellent to spend a quiet afternoon. Definitely a gem in the historic center of Veracruz
