Waited 2 hours for food after a 25 min wait to sit, told no manager on duty when voiced complaints about the wait with 4 children who we’re crying from being hungry. Restaurant hid that there was a surcharge for more than 6 guests, we were able to have this taken off only to have another credit card surcharge now applied. This was the worst experience ever at a restaurant in my life. I will never return and will ensure anyone I know does not either. Meal type: Dinner Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

The only reason I am rating I am this restaurant over 2 stars is due to their staff and service. The food tasted bland or too salty, and the quality didnt justify the price. Here is what we had and why I wouldnt come back here: 1. Shrimp diablito - instead of crispy breaded shrimp, the ones we got were soggy and had no taste. The accompanying sauce helped down them somehow. 2. Tortilla soup - this was probably the only item that was ok 3. Quesapica- could just feel salt, lot of salt. 4. Taco Pescado - was really looking forward to the fish tacos, this being close to a lake with fresh catch/fish. Super disappointed again - bland, couldnt even taste the breaded fish in the tacos 5. Chicken quesadilla - was the saving grace, atleast something you cant go wrong with. Not coming back here. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $100+ Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

First time Visiting Marcela's Cocina Mexicana in Chelan. We spent the day at the water Park, then drove into town for dinner. Found Marcela's and decided to give it a try. We were greeted immediately and sat promptly. Menus, water, chips and salsa were brought. After a bit, our server arrived for a drink order. When our drinks arrived, we ordered our food. When our food arrived, it was plated well and of sufficient portion sizes. We all enjoyed our selections. Flavors were good, as well as the temperature the food was served. I do have to say, once our food was brought, it was a while before we were able to order another drink and our water glasses were never refilled. We also had to wait a bit for our bill to be brought, after we finished our dinner. Otherwise, the restaurant was inviting and comfortable. The atmosphere was good. As I said, we enjoyed the food. I think this is a good option for Mexican food in Chelan. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4
