I was very fond of this place because I had known it since the beginning of the 2000s, but I was very disappointed when I returned and, although apparently everything remained the same, the prices are suddenly exorbitant. €29 for a pizza... Mastropiero is a historic restaurant in Malasaña that was recommended to me for its Argentine pizzas and that's where we went. To say that the pizzas were very rich, tasty, with a particular style that differs from the pizzas in other restaurants and that they came well loaded with ingredients. But unfortunately, that's all I can say that's positive (which is no small thing, the pizzas are really good). The truth is that the price seems excessive to me, for €15 the size of the pizza seems ridiculous, I ordered an Argentine empanada and it seemed overheated and of very low quality. Then regarding the atmosphere, the space is what it is and the tables are very small, if it had a corresponding price I wouldn't mind, but I think you pay as if you were enjoying a better experience than what you find. Then the attention, as other reviews comment, is quite unpleasant and with an air of being left out, a point to improve if they do not want to lose customers... After the price of the pizza and the bad manners, they invited us to dessert, a small piece of cake that I think is not enough to compensate for the rest of the negative aspects.
