Visited this small restaurant in Takeo for lunch and had a great value set meal and a fresh sashimi platter for amazing prices. They offer 3 types of set meals on Weekdays at only ¥1100 each—chicken namban, seared fish, or fried battered white fish. Sashimi platter for one was great value as well, ¥1800 for 5 types of fresh sashimi. Mainly visited by locals so no English menu, Japanese menu was extensive but rather straightforward to make out after translating with Google Lens. A place that I definitely considered visiting twice during our stay in Takeo. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ¥1,000–2,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Mataemon is located in Takeo City. Although Takeo has no sea, the seafood is very beautiful. I eat sea urchin bowl every time. This sea urchin bowl also has a large portion, but I believe it costs around 1,600 yen. Very cheap. . . The other set meals are also huge and I think even men will be satisfied. The cost performance is the best! Just one thing. The meat udon had no taste. . . ? ? ? Taste of. Only this is minus 1. There is also a private parking lot next to it! We also have semi-private rooms, so it's a good idea to make a reservation!
