We visited Restaurant de Mayur with 3 other friends for dinner in the city center and we are Indian food lovers. It took a relatively long time to take our order and we got our drinks after 25 minutes. The beer we got was completely dead. I ordered a cocktail later and it was not a cocktail but just a fruit juice and very expensive. The food was tasty but the naan bread we ordered was not baked properly. We ordered 2 desserts that cost €13.50 each but what we got were 3 scoops of ice cream, small pieces of fruit and a yoghurt sauce. We are completely disappointed with the desserts and the price is not reasonable at all. Service: Dine in Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 5

Nice restaurant with cozy atmosphere. We love Indian food and the food was delicious but a bit expensive compared to many other Indian restaurants. The woman with the traditional dress was a bit pushy when taking the order, which is not very nice. She wanted us to choose the most expensive dish on the menu, but we wanted the freedom to choose the dish we liked. The food is extremely tasty! The service is very cordial. The owner himself came and spoke to us in person to ask if we were happy with the food. The waitress was very polite and cheerful and made sure we were comfortable with the temperature in the room as well.Their menu is quite varied actually. Me and my boyfriend have been ordering food from Mayur Kitchen for the last 6 months since we moved to Zwolle, through thuisbezorgd. And that menu was a bit restricted. But the menu at the restaurant itself was a pleasant surprise. The desserts are absolutely yum! The ambience of the restaurant is beautiful, they play soft Bollywood songs in the background. They even have quite a few things that they serve on the house and offer discount cards for your next visits.I would definitely recommend to all the people who would like to enjoy a wonderful all-course Indian meal. You can request the level of spice you want in your food while ordering.
