I appreciate this is a broader McDonalds issue... Ultimately it was Congleton franchise I visited. I went to McDonald's last night and my order came to £32. That was for 20 nuggets, cheese bites, and two burger meals. Not that long ago, burger meals were around £3.99. Now they're pushing £10 each, yet the meals don't even feel substantial anymore. You end up buying extra sides just to feel full, which drives the price up even further. I ended up asking for a refund. Since COVID and the rise of Uber Eats and Just Eat, McDonald's quality has noticeably declined. Food often sits waiting to be packed for 10 minutes or more before it's even collected, so by the time it arrives it's lukewarm or cold. At that point, it's become a very expensive disappointment. Compare that with KFC or Burger King. KFC regularly offers a bucket for two for around £15, which is actually filling and feels like much better value. McDonald's used to be the cheapest major fast-food chain, but that's no longer the case. At today's prices, it's even competing with places like Harvester, yet the quality and experience simply aren't comparable. McDonald's seems content to let these standards slip while continuing to increase prices. As consumers, we need to stop accepting poor-quality food. If your order arrives cold, poorly prepared, or not up to standard, ask for a refund. If people continue accepting subpar food without complaint, there's very little incentive for standards to improve. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £30–40 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Never wrote a review for Maccies before but I took my 2 boys here at Congleton for lunch today and they had the best time. They had a crafting table that one of their staff members had set out and she was also making animal balloons. She was amazing with all the children there. She even kindly offered to entertain my eldest by making him a star out of crafty pipe cleaners whilst I took my youngest to the the toilet. They have both not stopped talking about her. They have never had so much fun going to McDonald's before. Her name is Bobi she is a credit to your franchise, keep being your amazing self and thank you again for today from all of us it was lovely. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Only once my lunch was amazing So fresh and perfect Other then that it is shit I observe waiting 15 min for one chicken sandwich. When I asked when because 15 min it is not fast food I heard complaints from employees that they have other things to do because kitchen Is busy. Ok so what I get cold sandwich what was laying down for 10nim And other 37 was taking fresh and I was waiting for 32 This McDonald seams to be shit as other Opinion Shame . Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
