I never write reviews literally ever, but I myself am a server and just wanted to make the establishment aware of the situation that occurred 06/14 during the 9pm happy hour. I went in for a pre-birthday dinner with some friends the other night. We politely asked to sit outside where the host was super great and accommodated my party to the patio. (Thank you to the host, you were great!) It was currently the start of happy hour and our server came up to the table extremely agitated and somewhat aggressive? The immediate treatment to my party was pretty hostile off the bat. I asked about happy hour when this server snarkily told me it wasn’t happy hour so we had to order off the regular menuwhen it was happy hour. After I politely corrected her she said, “Oh I don’t even know what in time it is. They’ve had me working 9 hours and I want to shoot myself in the head.” My whole table went silent and really didn’t know how to respond. The rest of the night this server continued with a horrible attitude, repeated off-hand comments, and the overall comment about shooting her head off, kind of ruined the night. I hate to leave a bad review cause I’ve always liked this place, but as an individual in the industry, the behavior was completely inappropriate and out of place. Hope this reaches a manager somewhere so this doesn’t happen again. Really unfortunate and uncomfortable. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5

There wing were good i suppose being from buffalo I think they need to be hotter there just was no kick to the buffalo wings. The sesame seed were a surprise but went beautiful with the wings Price per person: $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

McGilvra’s is pretty great! I went again recently and had the BLT, which was delicious. I’m sober now, but their drinks have always been good, and they have a great NA selection. Fantastic service too! Will be back soon. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
