Really bad experience. Very upset we went here recently and we asked for everything vegetarian and she said that it would cost $3 or so each for the chow mein, the rice and the entree. I’ve never heard of someone charging you more to REMOVE MEAT. But I still paid for it because I’ve seen so many good reviews here. Unfortunately we received our food and we were disappointed. The shrimp entree such as the sweet and sour shrimp and the Kung pao shrimp was super BREADED and chewy and rubbery it was very hard to eat but we paid $47 for 2 plates. So we had no choice but to try n finish it. We SPECIFICALLY SAID NO MEAT MULTIPLE TIMES AND WE ALSO PAID $9+ extra per plate TO HAVE NO PORK OR MEAT. And I found pork or bacon bits in my rice anyways very disrespectful! I understand meat gets into stuff but we PAID EXTRA . And we are also not allowed to consume pork this is why I find it very disrespectful. So again very disappointing I threw all the food away and didn’t want to deal with this place again.

Yesterday evening, I took my family to Mei Wei Chinese Restaurant!!! We hadn't been there in a while, but it is a place we used to visit often!!! In addition to that, I chose them to cater my youngest child's Baby Shower years ago!!! Most of the time I eat their Garlic Chicken and I love their noodles and rice!!! In addition to that, their Orange Chicken is great and you must try their Honey Walnut Shrimp!!! If you're ever in or passing through Modesto, I recommend you stop by and grab some great Chinese Food!!! You can dine-in or carry out and if you're in a rush, call in your order!!! #FLAWLESSOFWCDT Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Orange Chicken w Egg Roll, Fried Rice, Garlic Chicken, Honey Walnut Shrimp
