We stayed in Oia for 5 days. We ate out every day, and I think Melitini is one of my favorite. It’s an affordable restaurant that serve delicious meze (like tapas). A reservation is highly recommended. We walked in as soon as the restaurant opened, but the table on the rooftop patio were all full. We ate in the small dining room downstairs. We were not happy with our table, but the food made it all worthwhile! Best saganski we’ve ever had! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Unfriendly staff - very pretencious; overpriced menu for what it is; go to a place across Alkyona that has better food and much friendlier staff or any other place in the area

We were excited to eat here on Oct. 1, 2021 and although very windy and cold, we kept our reservation and got seated upstairs. We saw quite a few couples which typically solidifies our initial curiosity of whether or not the food will be tasty. Unfortunately, after a LONG while, our orders were not taken, unlike everyone else around us.A couple seated right next to us specifically got there 10 mins after us, got their order taken and 5 mins later, our order still had not been taken. At that time we decided to leave and address the waitress politely. Without being apologetic, her excuse was that she didn’t take our order because we didnt tell her we were ready. We were seated by another gentleman and besides her visiting other tables MULTIPLE times, including ones right next to us, she never once came to our table. She also added that it wasn’t because of our race, which I did not bring up. Sounds like someone who has a guilty conscience to me. If your ancestors did not originate from the Caucasus mountains, beware of getting treated fairly here.
