Working with Lori and the team at Grange Valley for a recent fall wedding was an absolute pleasure, and I felt compelled to share how fantastic the entire experience was. The venue itself is wonderfully charming—it feels like a quaint little village. I love that guests can stay on-site and make a complete weekend out of it rather than just showing up for the day, which is a trend that is never going to go out of style. During our wedding weekend, a Nor'easter blew through and knocked out power across the entire property. For many venues, this would have been a catastrophic situation. However, Lori and her entire staff were incredible at jumping into action to find solutions. Everyone was working tirelessly to ensure things kept moving, even when we were down to just one building with power. Lori worked relentlessly throughout the day to ensure that by the time the event started, power would be restored—either through a generator or the main lines coming back on. So often when working with venues, you hit brick walls and run into staff who aren't collaborative. But a truly successful wedding relies on a unified team of people who all share the same goal: making sure the couple and their guests have a wonderful time. Lori and her staff completely exceeded that expectation. I would highly recommend Grange Valley to anyone looking for that classic Poconos rustic charm. They also have a beautiful space for a sailcloth tent, and I understand they are looking into adding flooring for it, which is going to be an absolute game-changer. We were so fortunate to have chosen Grange Valley for our event. From the start, the owner shared that a new event space was underway and would be perfect for our needs. Although we were a bit doubtful it could be completed in time, they delivered exactly as promised. The team worked tirelessly, and the venue was not only finished on schedule, it was beautiful, welcoming, and perfectly prepared for our group. Our event was an absolute success. A huge part of that success was thanks to our incredible event planner, Lori. She was organized, responsive, and genuinely invested in making our night special. Her calm professionalism and warm personality made the entire planning process smooth, and the event itself unforgettable. We highly recommend both Grange Valley and Lori!

Grange Valley Lakeside Inn & Winery is one of those properties that feels different from the moment you arrive. There is a great balance between the peaceful Pocono setting, the character of the property, and the updates that have clearly been made to create a comfortable and memorable guest experience. It has the charm of a boutique inn while offering much more than just a place to stay. Arrival & First Impression The property immediately gives you the feeling that you have gotten away from the typical hotel experience. The grounds are peaceful, attractive, and surrounded by the natural beauty you expect when visiting the Poconos. There is a rustic feel throughout the property that fits the setting perfectly. It does not feel like a cookie-cutter chain hotel. Grange Valley has its own personality and character, which makes the experience much more memorable. The lakeside setting adds another level to the property. Whether you are visiting for a weekend getaway, an event, or simply looking for somewhere relaxing to stay, the surroundings create a peaceful atmosphere from the minute you arrive. Rooms & Accommodations The guest rooms were comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully prepared. Everything felt fresh and well maintained. The rooms have a warm and welcoming atmosphere rather than the cold, commercial feeling you sometimes get from larger hotels. The furnishings and finishes work well with the overall mountain and rustic character of the property. The bed was comfortable, the room was quiet, and there was plenty of space to settle in and relax. You can tell attention has been paid to improving the accommodations while still keeping the personality of the inn. It is the type of room where you actually want to spend some time relaxing rather than simply using it as a place to sleep. Staff & Hospitality One of the biggest strengths of Grange Valley is the hospitality. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and approachable. There was a much more personal experience than what you typically receive at a large hotel. Rather than feeling like another room number, you feel like the staff actually wants you to enjoy the property and your stay. Everyone we interacted with was helpful and professional while still being relaxed and personable. That combination fits the atmosphere of the property extremely well. Atmosphere & Design The atmosphere may be my favorite part of Grange Valley. There is a great combination of rustic Pocono character and updated design throughout the property. Wood accents, comfortable gathering areas, warm lighting, and the natural surroundings all work together.There are plenty of areas where you can sit, have a drink, talk with friends, or simply relax. Winery & Beverage Experience Having the winery as part of the property makes Grange Valley much more than simply an overnight stay. Being able to enjoy wine without having to leave the property adds tremendously to the experience. It creates an atmosphere where you can slow down, spend time together, and actually enjoy where you are staying. The winery component also makes the property a great choice for couples, groups of friends, celebrations, and weekend getaways. Food & Gathering Areas The property does a great job of creating spaces where people actually want to gather. Instead of having one basic hotel lobby and nothing else, Grange Valley feels like a destination where different parts of the property contribute to the overall stay. Grounds & Lakeside Setting The outdoor setting is beautiful. The lake and surrounding property provide exactly the type of peaceful environment people are looking for when they come to the Pocono Mountains. There is something incredibly relaxing about waking up somewhere that feels removed from the busy commercial areas while still being convenient to everything the region has to offer. The grounds also provide plenty of opportunities for photos and make the property particularly attractive for weddings, private events, romantic weekends, and special occasions.
