My partner and I went to Meribella for their ‘Behind the pass’ tasting menu. We had Hayley as our waitress who was fantastic. All of the food was absolutely beautiful, the service was outstanding and the atmosphere was lovely. We couldn’t fault any part of our experience and would highly recommend heading to Meribella. Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The kitchen at this place is amazing!!! We had cured trout oysters and tatare for entre and the kitchen let us have 3 natural and 3 Kilpatrick in our half dozen. The size of the oysters are just right and freshly shucked, the topping of the kilpatrick was delicious but too much for the oyster, so we scooped some of it onto our sourdoug bread yum. The tatare was hand cut of high quality meat with a delicious topping, maybe a wee too much vinegar but still top of class. The cured trout was generous slices so you could taste it and feel the texture. We shared the main course of scotch fillet served with a very creamy real potato mash, again top of class. The only thing that pulled it back from 5 to 4 stars was the service. It was friendly, accommodating when it was there, not enough waiters on the floor caused the food to be served less warm than it should be and occasionally looking around for 5 minutes to locate a waiter. For the culinary experience highly recommend this restaurant. Bon appetite Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $100–120 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
