We don’t mind paying good money for good food, but this wasn’t worth it. So disappointed. They were out of 25% of the dishes on the menu, including the most simple thing - iberico ham. They were even out of the wine we ordered. As for the dishes we did have$18 for 5 shrimp, and $12 for two tiny pieces of tomato bread is not OK. The beef cheek was very under-seasoned, and the burrata dish was about 1/3 of a burrata torn apartfor $16. Save your money and put it towards a trip to Spain, where you can eat amazing food for half the price. Or, cook at home - all of the ingredients are available at HEB. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $60–70 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

We went for a drive and ended up in this place just because we wanted to have a drink. Starting with the ambiance and looks and cleanliness was all outstanding. The service was spotless and we enjoyed the wine. We were relaxed and milking the time so we decided to try some Tapas. The empanadas were very traditional and tasty the octopus was excellent and in my opinion a must try dish. The octopus was very tender, perfectly cooked and the sauce was a perfect complement with great flavor balace. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I don’t usually write reviews but mesón sommelier has not only expanded but improved their tapas menu from when they were previously next door. Traditional Spanish ingredients and very unique wines, some from Croatia, Armenia and Greece. Thank you for the amazing service and for welcoming my family and I.
