Delicious food, great service, clean and tidy restaurant! It's a small place with bar seating and just a few tables but that gives it a homey, welcoming vibe. The only "problem" is they need more staff for when it's busy. Our waiter was basically running the whole floor, making the drinks, even doing kitchen work, all while taking care of the tables! Man was working hard! Absolutely going back there Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I made the mistake of confusing this restaurant with The Real Milk and Honey in Atlanta. I was very disappointed. I had called prior to arriving so I was aware that this restaurant is small and has limited seating. The restaurant was clean and there were 2 other customers. Before we could sit we are told they only accept cash because their system just went down and apparently that "happens all the time". I was not overly impressed with the service. When we ordered we were told they don't have any crabs so anything on the menu with crabs is not available. So no gumbo again dissapointed. We ordered buttered biscuits, chicken and biscoff waffles, and 2 orders of shrimp and sausage grits. The portion size of the meals were large and and the presentation was nice. However, the biscoff waffle was very dry not fluffy at all. The chicken was thigh meat and seasoned well. The biscuits were dry and hard and the orange(?)sauce didn't add much flavor or moisture. The shrimp, sausage and grits had no flavor at all. I don't think they added any cajun seasoning we had to add salt just to get some flavor. The sauce was watery. ( I have included a photo of my dish verse the photo that is provided by the restaurant photos for comparison) The flavor profile of this dish was lacking in every way. I was expecting deep slow cooked savory flavor, with some aromatics, herbs and peppery heat and this dish did not deliver. I would not recommend or return to this restaurant. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $70–80 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

My husband and I were in the DC area for a weekend getaway and decided to try this spot—so glad we did! The food was amazing. The chicken was perfectly crispy and well-seasoned, the biscuits were warm and flaky, and that Cajun cream sauce? Absolutely incredible. It was so good I had to take a doggie bag home! Huge thanks to Brandon, who was managing the entire dining area, handling phone calls, and keeping up with DoorDash orders—he never skipped a beat!
