Definitely worth a visit as the "wine flight" was really great. You get to sample a little glass of wine paired with matching cheeses. You can add sides and additives. Unfortunately, the service really let us down. It took a while to get any kind of welcome service (including no water for a while) and they never came back to check on us or ask about any additional drinks. After asking for the bill 3 times, we chose not to stay for another drink. A shame as we would have liked to have sampled more items, but we were pretty fed up by this point. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Had a booking at 12 today under my friends name. Turned up just past 12 to find the place closed with no one inside. called the reservations number and eventually the lady got back to my friend to say the staff member who was meant to open is “MIA” and they’d not open til 3:30pm. Not good enough I took a day off work for this and we’d been looking forward to it for some time. Sure my friend who made the booking got a voucher to say sorry, but he didn’t need to take a day off work. Wont ever be back you’ve lost a valued customer now.

Whoddathunk a Fromagerie was a thing.. and what a great thing it is! Having, Googled wine bar near me, post doing big, big business in St Kilda, Milk the Cow came up and so happy I dropped in (and didn't go to the 'udder' place.. yeah, I went an obvious dad joke there.. I might even 'milk' them here ). I sat outside (as with Zip) and Fitzroy Street does get the odd nutter, but really it was quite chillaxing on a warm Summer evening. The waitress (French) was very helpfull, and when I got me little tasting board (matched wine n cheeses), she explained them all beautifully (was the small Cheese and Wine Flight option). And they all (wine and cheese and even the breads), were fan-diddly-tastic. I'll defo be back because a Fromagerie is defo a thing and a beautiful thing at that ) Alas, Zip not a fan of the fromagee, but does like cheddar (the heathen). Price per person: A$20–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Whisky Flight
