The food was good, and we were considering coming back. The menu showed lower prices than what we were charged. When we questioned it, the waitress said the menu was “just for pictures” and said “talk to the boss”. The owner who we spoke to “John” explained that the prices were outdated, and that it was just used for pictures.Instead of apologizing, he said that because we are Spanish, we were given the “picture menu.” That comment was offensive and completely unacceptable. If prices change, update the menus. Good food does not excuse misleading pricing or disrespectful, discriminatory comments. We will not be returning.

I LOVE their vegetable egg foo young. I order it extra crispy. But I just turned Vegan, soooooo. Will be looking at Tofu options.

I experienced an instance of racial profiling at the Ming Flower Chinese Restaurant. I placed a pick-up order for the restaurant today, 8/1/21. When I arrived and was parking, there was what seemed to be an African-American man wearing a green t-shirt and shorts that went in to pick up, presumably, a Doordash order. As he was walking out with his order, I , an African-American man wearing a gray polo and jeans, went in to pick up my order. As I am familiar with this restaurant, I went to the table where the orders are left and picked up my order. As I went back out to my car and put my seatbelt on, a worker of the restaurant came out to my car to accuse me of taking multiple orders. When I politely explained to him that I was picking up my Doordash order, he stated "Oh, I'm sorry. I confused you with somebody else." Disregarding the fact that the other gentleman and I were dressed completely different, I felt so incredibly disrespected by being accused of taking multiple orders simply because I shared the same race/ethnicity as someone else who had just walked in. Suffice to say, I absolutely will not be ordering from this establishment ever again.
