Service was not great. The chicken sandwich was like cardboard over cooked and very thin. Mixed up coffee orders chips were over spicy too seasoned. Definetly gone backwards since our last visit 6 months ago. Booked a table and there was not enough seats when we arrived. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: NZ$50–60 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

Great hospitality and amazing breakfast. We got the Eggs Benedict on hash browns and it was the best we’ve ever had. We made sure to leave a tip, it was that good! Paired with an amazing coffee made exactly as I asked (and I’m very particular). 10/10 recommend Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: NZ$10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I had such a disappointing experience and giving it 1 star is generous. Tables were dirty had to ask for it to be cleaned. This was the general state of all the tables. Tables weren’t cleared as people left. No one checked on us whilst waiting for our food to arrive. I had to ask where it is 40 minutes after I placed our order. We were asked if we wanted our money back or wait a further 10 minutes. 15 minutes later half of the food arrived had to ask for cutlery as there were none available at the counter. 5 minutes later the last of the order arrived. Staff were more interested in eating hot chips behind the counter than serving customers. Then proceeded to clear some tables whilst chewing. Not once the manager came over to apologise for the bad service. Sorry cannot recommend this place at all. Hmm also forgot to mention they ran out of ham for my ham and cheese toasted sandwich. Honestly the owner need to re-evaluate why they went into business the first place. Will certainly not visit again.
