We found it via side door as it is upstairs, not a shop front entrance. The food was very good, at a reasonable price. The beers were good value. Unfortunately they had run out of enchiladas as they have them fresh daily. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–25 Recommended dishes: Nice Beer Selection

This restaurant serves Ecuadorian fusion-style cuisine. The ingredients and flavors are familiar, but they take some liberties on the recipes to cater to the palates of foreigners. You can sort of tell when you walk in because hardly any of the guests are speaking Spanish, if any. That said, the flavors are good and if you're looking to try something new, they have it here. They have some Ecuadorian classics like seco de chivo, cuy, ceviches, fritada, and locro quiteno, each with a little fusion spin on them. I wish they would ease off on the decorative sauce plating as it is over the top and distracting, but the food is good. The staff are super friendly and speak fluent English. They let you try and speak Spanish to them, but they are quick to come to your rescue as their English is better than any foreigners' Spanish. They also accept credit card here. The atmosphere is overall good, though it can get really noisy when they have a band or when it's busy. If you want to ease your way into Ecuadorian food, this is a good place to do it. Although I had tastier and more authentic Ecuadorian food in Quito, this was still a really nice meal. Would recommend Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Miskay dishes out simple yet delicious Ecuadorian food - no frills, just solid flavours, paired with attentive service. But don’t expect a hidden local gem; it’s firmly on the tourist trail and mostly filled with tourists. Still worth it if you come for the food, not the vibe. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Price per person: $15–20
