First time here, from Indiana.. Cozy place. Loved the live music. Dinner was delicious. Great staff. Steak was correctly cooked. Pizza was good. Dessert rocked too. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $30–40 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free of charge street parking Kid-friendliness: Saw several kids in here enjoying family time.

If a Paris cafe magically teleported to California, it would be this bistro. Terrific ambiance and the food is amazing! We had a wonderful dinner there. Started with a seasonal charcuterie plate, (omg, these local peaches and burrata are to die for), continued with frenched chicken and mind-blowing buckwheat crepe with chicken and mushrooms. Vegans have a few good options, roasted tahini cabbage wedge was a real hit, we didn’t try aubergine sourdough toast unfortunately. The place serves Italian sodas, aperol and unique mocktails. Dessert selection is a classic tart/crème brûlée choice, but with interesting additions like lavender cheesecake and olive oil and salt ice cream. Btw that evoo/salt ice cream is amazeballs. Anyway, when visiting Sequoia National Park, take a 20 min drive down to Exeter. The food is absolutely worth the drive. Great French food is hard to find, even in Paris these days. But here it is, in Exeter, Ca. Travelling through Exeter on our way to Sequoia, we found this cute little restaurant with European fusion kitchen. By far the best restaurant experience we had in the US up to this point. The ravioli, flank steak and chicken crepes tasted incredibly rich and flavourful! The service was great and there was even a musician playing live jazz music. Overall 100% recommended! We also got some tips for our upcoming travels. If you are in Exeter, go to Monets Wine Bistro - you will absolutely love it! This place easily competes with the greatest restaurants of Amsterdam (where I live). Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
