Monroe's never disappoints. The taquitos are crispy, packed with flavor, and disappear way too fast. The chimichanga is exactly what you want, golden and crunchy on the outside, loaded on the inside, and smothered with incredible chile. The chips and salsa are honestly some of the best in Albuquerque, fresh, addictive, and the perfect way to start the meal. Great portions, friendly service, and consistently excellent New Mexican food. If you're craving authentic comfort food, Monroe's is always a solid choice. Went there for a pet friendly patio. It was on their Instagram as being pet friendly. Scheduled the family lunch there, just to see several "no dogs allowed" signs. So we had quickly find another place. Fortunately, Sadie's right around the corner had a pet friendly patio. So we went over there and had an amazing meal. There was a bit of a wait at Sadie's, that's because a lot of people love that place. Plenty of open tables at Monroe's. That's not a good sign when all the other good places in town had some kind of wait, and this place was pretty vacant. So maybe dodged a bullet by their patio being pet unfriendly. And the emergency handicap exit had a locked pad lock on it. I guess the handicap would have to pull themselves over the gate in an emergency? And they have real margaritas at Sadie's. Atmosphere: 1

We have eaten at both places. Mostly now on the Osuna restaurant. We wonder, when did the Osuna Monroe's restaurant up opened? Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
