Went for my son's birthday. We all got pasta so we can only comment on the pasta dishes. I don't understand the reviews. The pasta was not good. There were only 5 pasta dishes to choose from. We got the bolognese, clam sausage pasta, some type of pistachio pasta, and a kid pormodoro pasta with meatball. The pasta noodles were not good. They were not soft. My son's kid pasta was for sure under cooked, the sauce was so bland like tomato sauce straight from the can no seasonings at all. The clam sausage pasta was nothing to rave about, noodles also bad. My son did not like the bolognese. He thought the noodles tasted stale. All the pasta noodles reminded me of the the thick rubbery noodles you get in homemade chicken noodle soup. Very disappointed and upset because the bill was not cheap. I think they probably use too much egg in the pasta dough. I don't know. But it wasn't good. I tried the Drunken wifey with my meal and it was quite delicious, elderflower and lemon made it the perfect refreshing cocktail of choice. We also tried the salmon and veggies and the pasta pomodoro featured on their upcoming AZ restaurant week menu. We were invited in to sample a potion of the menu and we enjoyed every single bite. I always love the ambiance and decor in Mora but wanted to share how phenomenal this sampling was as well! My sister was in town for a brief visit, and we checked out Mora Italian with my Dad and Aunt. It was a GREAT experience from start to finish!! People The assistant manger, TJ, was immediately kind and helpful. We settled into our table, and Jacob, our server, came over to take our drink order. He was attentive and so helpful without being overbearing. We wanted to take our time, and he paced everything perfectly. The woman from the kitchen, who brought out the different courses, was also so nice. TJ came over to the table to check on us at one point and then was, again, so kind on our way out. Food The drinks and food were delicious. The different dishes were creative and we loved the variety of flavors. We look forward to getting back there to try more dishes! Ambiance The space itself is so cool - high ceilings with exposed brick and wood beams, cool windows, nice looking bar area and patio. Thank you Mora Italian for an awesome EXPERIENCE tonight!! You set the stage and prepared a beautiful meal, so we could just relax and enjoy easy conversation and much laughter. (Next time, I will try to remember to take photos!)
