Man what a treat, unbelievable food, the old school place you look for. A Cuban version of southern plate lunch, I have worked Florida for years and that is the best Cuban food I have had. The Grandson was outstanding. Best find in a while. Also homemade Frito! My favorite hidden gem! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This place is a gem. If you want authentic Cuban food come here. Been coming to Morro for years!! To this day, I say they have the best steak and fries. Service is always great, makes you feel like your at your Abuelas house. 5/5 stars Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I would call this the closest thing to the food my cuban abuela Cardidad used to cook at home. It almost brings me to tears the way the taste of it resembles the perseverance and resilience that earned her freedom. Morro Castle is one of those places that just feels right the moment you walk in. It’s not fancy or flashy... but that’s what makes it so special. It’s real. It’s warm. And most of all, it’s home. The food truly does remind me of the meals I grew up with. Every bite tastes like someone’s abuela is back in the kitchen, doing it the way it’s always been done. With love and making sure you are fed well. When it comes to the service, it is fast, but never rushed. Everyone there is kind, down-to-earth, and genuinely happy to see you. It’s the kind of spot where they remember your order if you come often enough, and you’ll probably run into a friend or two while you’re waiting. One of my favorites for a cafecito in the morning or grabbing a late-night bite after a long day. If you know, you know. And if you don’t—you’re seriously missing out.
