Mother's Bistro & Bar is a charming place to enjoy a fabulous meal with family or friends. The warm and inviting atmosphere, with cozy booths and tables, makes it great for intimate dinners. The food is simply divine, with a creative menu that tantalizes the taste buds of all diners. My favorite dish is the Salmon Tartar, which is tender and perfectly seasoned. The staff is also attentive and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable.

We finally found a brunch spot in Portland that was worth the wait! After our horrendous experience at Screen Door the day before, I was somewhat worried about finding a brunch restaurant we would actually enjoy. Luckily Mother's Bistro more than delivered! The interior of the restaurant is absolutely exquisite, like a fancy version of your mother's kitchen - homey but classy, especially with the chandeliers and elegant colorful furniture and wallpaper. I really loved the interior design and ambiance! As for their menu, Mother's Bistro offers a variety of breakfast options and serves brunch through mid-afternoon. I kept it simple and ordered their Belgian waffle, which was actually pretty big and came with powdered sugar dusted on top and butter and maple syrup on the side. The waffle was slightly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside - the perfect texture all around. It was pretty darn good. I had also ordered a cocktail that I didn't care for and our waiter was nice enough to take it off the check, which I really appreciated. All in all, Mother's Bistro & Bar is a truly spectacular brunch spot in Portland and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting and looking for somewhere to dine in the a.m.
