Amazing food, lovely people. While everywhere else is shrinking portion sizes these are properly big for the price and you’ll leave feeling full. I’ll come here every time I’m in Perth, and the staff are the nicest people ever. Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A little Japanese place tucked away in the Riseley precinct. They serve dishes that other Japanese places in Perth don't usually do such as ochazuke. We ordered the inari ochazuke and we were amazed by the components of the dish that were colourful and full of different textures. The tea itself is light, and served as a good canvas for the shiso salt and preserved plum. The agedashi was fried to perfection and coated in a really strong flavoured sauce which adds to the dimension of the dish. There's also a perfect onsen egg that brings creaminess to the dish. The soy hot pot is tasty and the chicken pieces are tender. The deep fried rice cake pieces are chewy as you'd expect and when left in the soup it soaks up the flavour well. The yuzu soy sauce dipping sauce adds an tangy balance to the creamy soup. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Happy to give this a five star after our first dining experience today on Mother’s Day. We walked across last week and found them to be quite busy and popular so decided to give them a try on a likely busy peak day of the year today, Mother’s Day. We booked online 2 days prior & our reservations for 4 was accepted shortly after that. A positive start. There was also no credit card requirement for booking online too, another positive. We came shortly after they opened at 11am, and the inner dining has a cosy family friendly vibe. The service was friendly enough with one female staff doing serving and taking order singehandedly mostly. We ordered udon with chicken katsudo, miso ramen & a teriyaki chicken Meal set. They were all delicious and we finished the meal off. You need to get a key to access the bathroom outside as it’s a shared complex but other than that, we would be happy to return. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
