All of our product labels clearly state that customers should scan the QR code provided for full allergen information. We moved to this system because displaying every possible allergen on individual labels became cluttered and difficult to read, particularly as many products contain multiple allergens or may have cross-contamination warnings. The brownie purchased did contain nuts, and this information was available through the allergen information accessed via the QR code. We understand your son's disappointment on discovering this after purchase and therefore the staff provided a refund for the item. We appreciate your comments regarding the interaction at the counter and will remind our team of the importance of communicating allergen information and customer concerns in a polite and helpful manner.
