A small local joint serving up rice bento boxes of charcoal grilled pheasant with pickles on the side, hot soup and tea. An affordable meal at $1300JPY, cash only. Get there at 11:30AM at opening because it fills in very quickly with locals. The restaurant is run by the chef himself, so be patient. He is literally cooking every meal as well as cashiering. Superb flavors! The rice is a bit softer but it is perfect for the purpose of sopping up sauce and being easily eaten with chopsticks. Highly highly recommend!!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
