Honestly pretty decent sushi at a decent price, not a huge variety. Did wish they had more roll options that were more fun sounding. The place gets cold because it’s small and the door wafts in a lot of air Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labeled vegetarian dishes

Highly recommend Musashis. It's located not far from Kent downtown which is nice. I. My wife just loved it. Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Meal type: Dinner

First time trying Musashi's and unfortunately was quite disappointed. Giving 3 stars because there was some good: portions, presentation, sides (soy, ginger, etc), rice quality, veggie roll, edamame. No problems there. But the fish... Eating sushi is about celebrating the qualities of fish, the freshness, the texture, the unique flavors of different fish. While the standard salmon and tuna pieces were okay, all others were atrocious. The ebi was half-withered and limp, the flesh was not plump. Albacore and yellowtail pieces were the worst of it, stiff and rubbery (yes the albacore is seared but it shouldn't have been *that* stiff), flesh was degraded and grainy, and the biggest red flag: fishy odor. Sounds crazy but good, fresh fish does NOT smell fishy! And the smell of these pieces immediately put us off the rest of our nigiri. These fish slabs must have been thawed at least several days prior. The yellowtail was also shockingly red, did not look like yellowtail, and left a reddish stain on the rice it sat on, so it was dyed fish. The cooked salmon in my husband's cheese roll was also mushy and sad, as if it were from a can. Providing fresh, quality fish is the core of a sushi restaurant, and sadly we will not eat here again knowing that will not be provided. Service: Take out Price per person: $30–50
