Came in over the long weekend. The patio was packed, but the inside wasn't very busy. They seemed to be understaffed, though, as it took quite some time before we were served. Our drinks came fast once ordered, and our food took a little bit to come (maybe 10-15 minutes, which wasn't all that long). I ordered a steak and fries, and my wife ordered nachos. The nachos were alright, while the steak came out Medium (I'd ordered Medium Rare). It was seasoned nicely with salt and pepper, and still tasted fine, but it was a little overdone. Considering they didn't seem fully prepared for the potential long weekend crowds, and we waited at least a half hour before having drink orders taken, let alone food, I'm not sure I can fully recommend it here. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: CA$20–30 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

I'm typically tolerant of slow wait staff and mistakes. However, this was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with any restaurant. It took 20 minutes to recieve our drinks and another hour to finally have our food placed in front of us. During a busy dinner service this wouldn't be a huge issue, but when there are only 4 other tables and 3 wait staff, it's entirely unacceptable. All 6 people had mistakes, whether it be missing sauce or something as simple as water (that we had to ask for 3 times). It seemed obvious that there was no rush to serve and not a whole lot of care. The food however, was enjoyable despite the small overpriced portion sizes. There are many enjoyable restaurants to eat at in Gananoque and this isn't one of them.
