First time here and we had a great meal. Next time with more people we can try more dishes but what we had was all carefully composed and delicious. Be ready for some loud music and live belly dancers at your table on Saturday night. If that’s not your thing, the show doesn’t last too long. This place is good to go for a return visit! We went with another couple last night. In regard to the food, all the salads and sides, and we had a lot of them, were fabulous. The corn salad was delicious as well as the pita and dips! The octopus dish was also very tasty. I had cod for my main. It was average at best, I was surprised after enjoying the appetizers so much. Our friends felt the same about their fish dishes as well. The service was spot on and the atmosphere was okay.Having said that, the one thing that I found not great was the following: twice during our time there, there were dancers in crazy revealing outfits that were dancing around all the tables and literally in our faces! When this was going on, the music volume was raised as they danced around the restaurant. In fact, so loud that it was hard to talk or hear another talk. There was a dollar bill tucked in the waistline of their outfits suggesting that they should be tipped. When I go to dinner with another couple, we talk, we catch up and we relax. The dances were trying to get us and others at different tables to stand up and dance with them. Even if you showed no interest, they were “ in your face”. This was a turn off for me. So much so, that regardless of how everything else was, I have no desire to ever return. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Price per person: $100+

Mykos in Northvale is a gem. The staff are warm, friendly, and completely unpretentious, making you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. The food was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delightful. The Mykos chips were perfectly crisp and quickly became our favorite. The whole grilled dorado was cooked to perfection—fresh, tender, and full of flavor. Every dish tasted thoughtfully prepared with quality ingredients. If you're looking for great food in a relaxed and inviting atmosphere, Mykos is definitely worth a visit. We'll definitely be back!
