The food is very tasty and made fresh! The service was absolutely great and Randy was really nice guy. The atmosphere received 1 star because of the dress code or LACK THERE OF! Ladies coming in there with what looked to be shapewear, gym clothing and just any ole thang! I would appreciate it if you raise the bar on your standard dress code. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 1 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $80–90 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Paid parking lot Kid-friendliness: Some kids that know how to sit down and behave! Wheelchair accessibility: Yes it’s wheelchair friendly!

I hate leaving negative reviews, especially for a Black-owned business, but I also believe customers should know what to expect. My girlfriend and I visited **Nafsi South Shore Beach** for Oyster Day yesterday before heading to another event. We arrived a little before 6:00 PM, were seated almost immediately, and ordered two drinks (a margarita and a sidecar), along with eight charbroiled oysters for me and five for her. The drinks took about 20 minutes to arrive, which wasn't ideal but wasn't a huge issue. The bigger problem was the food. We waited nearly an hour for our charbroiled oysters while watching other tables receive raw oysters and full meals—including guests who had been seated after us. Since we had another event to attend, I even went ahead and paid the bill, hoping our food would be coming out any minute. Unfortunately, after waiting another 20 minutes, our oysters still hadn't arrived. Our paid parking had expired, and we didn't want to keep extending it without any indication of when our food would be ready. We ended up leaving without ever receiving the oysters and had to request a refund for that portion of our bill. I completely understand that Oyster Day is likely one of their busiest events and that the kitchen may have been overwhelmed. Delays happen. What was frustrating was the lack of communication. If we had been told there was a significant delay or given a realistic estimate, we could have made an informed decision instead of waiting almost 90 minutes for food that never came. What makes this especially disappointing is that I had brunch here last year, and it was an excellent experience. That's one of the reasons I came back. I know Nafsi is capable of providing great food and service, which is why this experience was so surprising. I'm hoping this was simply an off day because I'd like to believe this isn't representative of the experience they normally provide.

We understand how frustrating the long delay, lack of communication, and needing to request a refund were—especially after a previous excellent visit. While Oyster Day is busy, that does not excuse poor service, and we will address staffing and kitchen communication immediately so this does not happen again. Please contact our manager directly at the restaurant when you have a moment so we can make this right and ensure a much better experience next time; we hope you'll give us another chance.
