I have generally always enjoyed the cusine at most Nando's establishments, however it is a shame to have a genuine food experience ruined by such disrespectful and inconsiderate customer service. My partner and I were seated at a table which had not been cleared. We were happy to wait and allow the staff time to clear the table. We waited a reasonable time and when a staff member finally came to clear tables, we watched as she proceeded clearing empty tables instead of prioritising to clear a table they knew to be laden with the previous customer's plates and food scraps, where paying customer were seated. As the table still was not being cleared we asked if it could be cleared. When the staff member finally came to clear our table she proceeded to clear half of the plates and left the other half there for the entirety of our meal. It never was fully cleared while we were seated there. When our food was served it was not brought out at the same time even though it could be seen on the ready to serve counter and was instead left sitting there for an additional 8-10 minutes before being brought to our table. As customers dining in, we should not have to chase up the food we ordered and paid for. In addition to this my partner went inside to ask the staff for a takeaway container to place our leftovers in and was approached very abruptly but a staff member who then decided to toss the take away container at my partner instead of handing it to him. In hospitality customer service is paramount. Please do not send out an apology or a link like with the rest of the negative reviews to compensate for the lack of customer service. Fix it by addressing it with your staff and teaching them how to address individuals and be respectful to their customers. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: A$20–40

The food here was good, but unfortunately the customer service from one staff member left a bad impression. We visited last weekend and were served by a young lady with braided hair. We initially went to the counter to place our order, but she told us we could sit down and order from the table. She probably thought we were waiting to be seated, but we already had a table and simply preferred to order at the counter. When we explained this, she rolled her eyes. She may have thought we didn't notice, but both my partner and I saw it and were quite taken aback. We're not confrontational people, so we just exchanged a look and carried on. We also used some reward coupons that we had earned, and she seemed visibly annoyed that we were redeeming them, even though all that was required was a quick scan. It really felt like she didn't want to take our order at the counter. As for the food, it was generally good. One batch of chips was overly salty, but we mentioned it and another staff member replaced it without any issues and with great service. Overall, the food was enjoyable, but the attitude of the staff member at the counter unfortunately affected our experience. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: A$40–60 Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
