They've recently moved into the lower level of Bridlewood Mall at Warden and Finch Ave E. I stopped by for some Sri Lankan snacks and short eats. For under $5, you can land yourself some savoury Fish Patties, ( ) , Ulunthu Vadai (Medu Vada) or cuttlets. A quick and tasty snack stop!

I had to come back here to try some dishes because the samosas were awesome and such a great deal. Service: Quick and friendly. I should note that many of the hot foods don't have labels on them so you may need to ask what it is if you're curious. Otherwise, order off the main menu and they'll get it for you. Word of warning: This place is popular and is accustomed to long line ups and food selling out! Food: Pepper chicken - nice black pepper flavor, juicy chicken, big hit! 5/5. Chicken curry - seemed a bit monotonous and not that much curry flavor. Chicken is well cooked though. Not bad but given the other hits, I'd give it a pass. 3/5. Butter chicken - rich, creamy and on the sweeter end. Chicken well cooked as well. Delicious! 4/5. Mutton curry - this one had such flavor and herbs/spices. Packs the heat too without being overbearing or taking over the flavor. The mutton has that perfect game-y-ness without being overpowering. 5/5. Roti - pretty good. Has some nice flakiness on the outside but a bit denser overall. Works well to pick up the meat and sauce. Price: Really cheap! 6$ for a small container and it's totally worth it.

What a shame. Excited about their relocation (I saw promising reviews), I was ready to eat some great Sri Lankan food. BUT WHEN I FIRST BIT INTO IT, IT WAS COLD... It was sad because the food is spiced well (i'm weak so it's too spicy for me) and the soya beans and mutton roll taste great. Unfortunately, the food was cold which was undesirable to say the least. Regardless, I think they are worth it for the price if their food wasn't cold. I got 2 mutton rolls, rice and fish curry paired with dahl and soya beans, all for 11 dollars. They have decent proportions, good spiced food and friendly and patient service. I hope this was a fluke and I'm willing to come back again if it is.
