Love, love, love it here!!! Food is delicious, atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, great play area for the kids, and the view from the beer garden is stunning. Seriously, just go!

Situated along a hill in which it's forever located adjacent to a passing scotchman lane of whom passing by in both directions towards local destinations... stands the characterful charming yet ever so imposing needless inn, One of the most well-run, cleverly terrific, also colourfully uplifting pubs I've ever seen, passed, even visited before, especially from when it use to be called the greedy duck... before fresh new management took over thus resulting in changing it's name to... the needless inn, Like most pubs and bars whether in or outside either town or village in the north of england (not just our yorkshire), the needless inn - formely the greedy duck... houses delightful display (or two) of photography well hung up on it's walls in-doors... showcasing thus rediscovering not only it's whereabouts but also the pub's exact home place of both morley and nearby batley, In addition to the truly characterful bar, interiors, astounding atmesphere 'both inside & outside' as well as the refreshing pints and tasty snacks of whom successfully served all-round... the needless inn, is indeed well run by one of the most successfully hardworking, very helpful yet warmly welcoming teams of staff the pub's ever employed, I'd look forward to passing the pub once again, even on other occasions revisit said needless inn, for the occasional pint and snack... and possibly have a go at it's own snooker/pool table as well. Tip-TOP.... 60 out of 60. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
