Great pub grub, and very generous portion sizes ... excellent value! Very friendly owners and staff, and a really good venue for live music. Vegetarian options: There are a few vegetarian options ... the veggie lasagne was delicious! Parking: There's a carpark at the side, with plenty of on-road parking outside, when the carpark gets full. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free parking lot, Free street parking

I am compelled to write this review , as we went to Sunday lunch , just my mother and myself , who had recently come out of hospital from cancer and as a treat we stumbled across my worst nightmare , the staff , especially the waitress had no idea of taking a simple order , forgot most things , hardly. Saw her , and it was not busy , i asked for a fish dish as I’m a vegetarian and nothing so had some cheese and biscuits ,after waiting a long time received dessert menu and I ordered sticky toffee pudding , it was a dry syrup sponge cheap icecream , but the worse to come as it arrived amended for something else my mother was not well so I left the newly arrived dessert and credit card on table , whilst I put her in car in order to pay , as I parked it straight outside , a big women came running out accusing us of not paying and doing a runner , I was so upset including my mother , I went back in snd apparently she’s the daughters owner , had not seen the situation as busy eating her food , I explained and she was so rude appalling behaviour , I eventually got served by the barman and asked for a takeaway , further to insult they overcharged me for dessert , the whole thing was a nightmare and I had to write this , please if you want a nice Sunday lunch good food and nice people don’t go to the the New Inn Viney hill
