Having seen Old Compton Street, it's time to have a rest at this restaurant. Visitors state that it's fine to go here for the Cantonese and Chinese meal. Many people point out that waiters offer nice cheung fun, dimsums and superb belly pork here. You will be offered nicely cooked pancakes. New World offers normal jasmine tea among its drinks. Clients don't like wine at this place.
You will have warm memories about this spot as it is famous for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. This restaurant earned a 4 star Zagat rating for food, that denotes the cooks here prepare decent meals.

It would be a shame if New World has closed. For years they were a staple in the community. Between me and my friends, all we had to say is “Can I get some DIM SUUUUMMMMMMM” and we knew where we were going. Slowly, it deteriorated, however, and no one denies that.

. Very slow service. Was given dessert before main. Restaurant Not even busy and i had to wait 15+min before being asked for what i wanted. One young man seemed to be working hard and meeting customer needs. The rest of waiters were more intrested in clearing tables. I could see other customers waiting to order for a while as well. I feel i have to write This review as i dont want others to waste their time and money. Ive been here once before in mid 2015. Today was appalling.

We have been eating here for 20 years, and always top quality. But our last visit it was alfull. Staff wearing t shirts, no greeting at the door, long wait to be served and small menu and big bill.
