This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. Awful service, subpar food and they charged an exorbitant amount of money for surf and turf that showed up cold. I would’ve argued over the bill but truthfully we just wanted to get out of there after an hour and a half for two dinners!

From the start to end just an awful experience. First, we were sat without menus...by the owner I might add. We have a infant with us and asked for a high chair and we never got it, despite asking twice for it. Second, webwere given pitchers of water but had no glasses! No big deal, we laughed. Then, we were served our food...food was nothing special, the bread was good though! My steak was good except they forgot the melted butter topping and when they brought it out, it looked like a frozen circular piece of butter with blue cheese crumbles jammed in it (ummm wuttt...) My fiancé's good was good (she had the crab cakes) Her mother and grandmother had the eggplant parm. Her grandmothers dish was fine but her mothers dish literally looked like a piece of rubber, completely inedible. The owner comes over yelling..."who didn't like the eggplant?!" My fiancé's mom informs her that it was her dish and goes "do you want something else?" She goes "no that's ok, thank you" and owner goes "Ok Fine!!" and walks away, no apology or ANYTHING!! The waitress came over to apologize for our experience. Thankfully they took it off it off the bill. Reviews are ALL 100% accurate about this place going downhill with the new ownership. Such a shame, this place has so much potential to be a destination given its history. It was your typical unexciting Pennsylvania restaurant with nothing unique to it what so ever. Also, I'm pretty sure I got bit by at least two spiders while I was in there...not to mention the two we saw run across our table. I hope the owner reads these reviews...you either A.) Have no idea what you're doing and should hire someone who does or B.) You're too stuborn to care about your customers This place needs Bar Rescue really bad....only 1 patron at the bar on a Saturday... Won't be coming back!!

The Newburg Inn used to be much better before the new owners took over. Went to the Thanksgiving dinner which is now a buffet. The lamb was stringy and the stuffing wasn't good. It was much better in years past when the Thanksgiving dinner was served at your table on plates instead of buffet style.
