I place a pickup order, so while I was waiting in my car, a lady I knew pulled up next to me, she came over to me and started to share with me that her grandmother who is in a nursing facility is failing in her health and she was there to get her a piece of cake. She began telling me how hard life has been for her and how raising two young boys is really tough. I shared with her that I was a single parent at one time, and that I sympathize with her and understand Her situation, I asked her if she would like for me to pray with her for peace and understanding, and for some sort of sign that everything would be OK. We both went inside. I picked up my food and she picked up her piece of cake for her grandmother. I hugged her, kissed her on the cheek and told her God is always with you and if you need me to talk to, I am here I shared my number with her and she told me thank you so much for being there when I needed someone to talk to for a brief moment. This was the first time I had ever been into your Establishment to pick up food. The atmosphere was wonderful. The people were fantastic and least of all the food was great. I enjoyed my salad to the utmost and while I was eating it prayed for this young lady. Thank you so much for having a wonderful place that serves Delicious food. Every time I go to NEWK'S EATERY, I'm never disappointed with the things I've tried. My favorite is THE POTATO SOUP. If u like Clam Chowder, u will love this soup..AWESOME!!!
