It’s time for the owner to hang up the hat. Poor tasting coffee, poor tasting hash browns (I suspect fried in bad oil), eggs not prepared as requested. My dining companion ordered a side of bacon when the waitress inquired the cook about it he said sometimes they miss things on the ticket. Mind you, they were not busy. Shameful really. I didn’t eat the hash browns after the first bite and after taste. This place is held together by there clan of regulars but I suspect not much new traffic and if there is, not repeated. The atmosphere, while nostalgic smells like your grandmas bungalow basement in the city. Think mildew and mold. Sad to see a local establishment falter but sometimes it’s time to say goodbye. Great food, great service. Burgers are the best. Highly recommend to anyone in the area.

Went to another restaurant that morning and I could tell from walking in that me and my husband was not going to get the best service and the waiters prove my instincts. We left and went to Walmart on Golf Rd and ended up finding Niles Grill Diner.....one of the best diners I have encountered in a long time..The waiter, the cook..the staff was sooo welcoming. The food was even better...some of the best hospitality that you will no longer find around. We are from Indianapolis so to come across this jewel was a absolute blessing....even some of the natives were welcoming as we left to go and do more shopping. I will definitely come back to visit in the future.
