【海を望む、でも味は穏やか】 Tucked just above the waves at Oiso Port, OISO CONNECT CAFE is a breezy, seaside stop perfect for group lunches and casual breaks. We were seated immediately and served just as fast — a rare luxury on a weekend afternoon. The seafood curry came generously portioned, dotted with plump shrimp and squid that added brightness to the plate. But the curry itself leaned familiar, lacking the boldness to match its briny companions. Not bad, just not unforgettable. My caramel latte, however, was more perplexing — sweet and warm, yes, but with barely a trace of coffee. Listed under “coffee,” I had hoped for more than dessert in a cup. Still, the café has undeniable charm: clean lines, airy atmosphere, and windows that flood the space with coastal light. Afterwards, we wandered through the thoughtfully curated souvenir shop on the ground floor — a bonus for travelers looking for local finds.
