Food was INCREDIBLE and completely AUTHENTIC! Service was fast and friendly. It's a small place but with a great family feel. Everything we ordered was DELICIOUS! The food here was excellent. If you want to try Mexican food with not only your Mexican staples that all Mexican restaurants carry but also try new dishes not normally offered in most places, this is the place to go. It's a small quaint place, homey restaurant with authentically ethnic and diverse offerings. Try it out for true Mexican and delicious food!!! My plan was this: give a Mexican restaurant near my house a second chance. It was closed; Monday. Went to Google and asked for nearby Mexican restaurants, and the Oaxaca Restaurant at 2316 W. Bethany Home showed. Never been there, cute little place, bright and clean. The waiter was a pleasure. He was smart, helpful, and nice. He explained the food to me and helped me choose. (Little old lady from Wisconsin here.) I ordered the cheese enchiladas with green sauce, but declined the steak that came with the order. The food was great! The prices are almost too reasonable. Four enchiladas and a side order of steak for $8.99! $8.99 was the highest price on the menu. But - because of Covid their business is very slow. I was there at 1130 and only three tables were filled. Let's help them out. Please! It's an excellent restaurant with great service and food. I highly recommend the Oaxaca Restaurant.
