I love Oberweis. I used to get home delivery but then I moved to an area where that’s not a possibility. Just so happened I had to go and pick up turtle pies for a birthday and so today I stopped at the Oak Park Oberweis. There was a school group ahead of me children kindergarten through fifth grade there had to be at least 15 of them with three teachers. And I was in line behind them. The teachers offered to let me go ahead, but I wasn’t in a hurry so I didn’t take them up on it. instead I got to stand and watch your staff member Darius do an amazing job. He treated each and everyone of those small people just like any other customer. He was patient and kind. He was helpful to the teachers. He was courteous throughout the entire experience and did an outstanding job with a pleasant smile and patient professionalism throughout. Darius set an excellent example for all those little people today. Thank you. Darius and my experience in Oberweis with all those wonderful children made my day. I like this place & the ice cream so Im going to encourage with stars, but please help your staff learn how to be passably affable. Also please figure out a system for returning the bathroom key. Does the bathroom key go back to one of the workers? The staff person I offered it to just observed me silently, kept on phone, wanted ti ignore me until i asked where I could return the key, and then she didn’t want to take the key. Does it go in a tray or certain spot somewhere? I didn’t see a spot. Or should the customer just leave it on the counter? To avoid awkwardness, please just make a designated spot for it?
