10/10, would definitely come back here, and recommend to family and friends. For the initiated, this is a classic Japanese Izakaya (a cross between a bar and a restaurant) that serves quality food (mainly meat) and drinks at fair prices. Reservation required! And yes, this is the type of restaurant where you grill your own meat at the table, it’s really cool experience. As someone who didn’t speak Japanese, I got the English menu—however the staff were very good about clarifying any questions I had. They were very accommodating. Atmosphere is exactly what you want if you’re looking for the true Japanese experience. Price per person: ¥2,000–3,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Fantastic spot—such a fun and memorable dinner. Cooking the chicken yourself at the table made it interactive and unique, and everything was fresh and delicious. Great atmosphere, friendly service, and a truly local Japanese vibe. Perfect for a night out with family. Went with my wife and son and we all loved it—would definitely come back. Oicho is a gem! This was a great little find. We felt like yakitori for dinner and at this Izakaya you can cook it yourself over coals. They have a great selection of chicken and other meats. We loved the chorizo and the meatballs. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. We would definitely come back. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ¥2,000–3,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
