When I told my family we'd be checking out a place called "OK Asian Express", I got an "are you serious" look. I think they were expecting a similarly named Chinese restaurant named after a black-and-white mammal (no offense - I love their sesame chicken). Off on Mt. Moriah Rd, it's an unassuming restaurant in the same plaza as Carabba's and Red Robin. When we got there, we happened to see two men - presumably cooks - squatting and chilling around the corner and I knew somehow we were hitting gold. We tried a good number of things - some dishes were a hit. Salted Egg Fried Fish, Dry Fried Green Beans to name a few. Very authentic and tasty. I already have plans to go back again and try some of their specials on the whiteboard. Heads up: they DO charge for water and tea (they only provide water bottles). Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20

I had a great experience at OK Asian Kitchen! The dry pot pork intestines were incredibly flavorful, perfectly cooked, and had just the right level of spice. I also really loved the stir-fried sausage with chili and potato slices — super fragrant, well-seasoned, and very satisfying. Everything tasted authentic and delicious. Definitely coming back to try more dishes! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30
