I went to Okamoto Ryokan, which is often featured on TV and in magazines, to try their famous beef hotpot! There were 15 seats in total when the store opened, but more and more customers started coming in and the place quickly filled up! It's a popular restaurant, so if you're going with a large group, it's best to make a reservation by phone in advance! Order the famous beef hotpot right away! The beef used is apparently Kuroge Wagyu beef from Okayama! There were six other ingredients in the pot: burdock, onion, konjac, Chinese cabbage, udon, and garland chrysanthemum For the warishita, the chef makes the soup stock using bonito and kelp Free refills of rice! At first, I ate it normally, then added some rice to the pot to finish it off.The soup stock, which had been simmered to release rich meat and vegetable extracts, was truly amazing(๑>
