I was delighted to see there was Korean food restaurant in Hiwasa while passing through on my walking journey. The atmosphere was quiet, the restaurant was immaculate, and most importantly the food was authentic, delicious, and clean. The cooks were also very friendly. I highly recommend popping in if you get a chance! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ¥1,000–2,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Delicious!!! I was looking for vegetarian lunch options in Hiwasa after hiking at nearby Senba Cliffs, and this place was perfect. They have an English menu and the two ladies running the restaurant were very nice. Pictured is the ishiyaki bibimbap (in a stone pot, not a bowl - they have regular bibimbap too), which comes with seaweed soup and kimchi. There’s also an option to get this in a larger set with coffee/tea etc. It doesn’t explicitly say it’s vegetarian anywhere, but I asked if they could do bibimbap with no meat and they said yes! Everything was so delicious, quick and very reasonable (~$2600 for two meals).
