Well...the quality of the food is always good, but...I have been going there for about 3 years and always order 1/2 sandwich with gluten free bread. Today, the order taker said he couldn't give me half because he would have half left over so I need to order a whole. (I suggested he only use one piece of bread...) - anyway, I said that's been my order for years, have things changed?? He said ok, I could have 1/2 on gluten free. I waited about 10 minutes and another young man, sandwich maker comes to the order taker and says that gluten free is frozen. Not the family feel I have always known :(.

I honestly cannot say enough about On Rye Deli. My office does birthday themes every month (I decide on the theme) and for the month of November I chose to do “thanksgiving sandwiches” for everyone. The first deli that came to mind was On Rye Deli since I grew up in Norwell and always loved their sandwiches. I called them up a couple days before to let them know I needed about 50 thanksgiving sandwiches and they couldn’t have been more helpful if they wanted too. My office freaking loved them - the sandwiches are to die for. If you’re in the area it’s a MUST TRY. Thank you again so much - I appreciated this more than you’ll know especially trying to make sure everyone in your office is happy with the decision you made.
