This Pub crawl is a must go in Edinburgh especially if you’re visiting, you’ll feel you fit right in with a bunch of like minded visitors. I enjoyed it very much and Ali is a perfect host.

Booked on a private tour for a hen do and honestly, it was really disappointing and alarming. We paid £30 each (around £800 total for our group) expecting a private and organised experience (neither of which were delivered), but got put on a public tour and were told we couldn’t split off. That completely defeats the point, especially when public tickets are way cheaper. One of the main reasons we booked was to choose our own route and vibe for the night, and we were told we could speak to the guide about it. When we tried, he just refused, no real explanation, even after multiple times of us explaining that there were people with mobility issues. We were also meant to get photos taken all night on a professional camera, but there was no camera at all and no photos were taken. Same with the bar discounts, after the first couple of places, we were told they weren’t available; Frankenstein's staff even told me that they'd contacted the Tour's office to state that the deals the guides promised us were a year out of date! The worst part was the situation with the mixed group. The company says they keep hen/stag groups separate, but we were put with a public group anyway. Some of the lads made people in our group uncomfortable; one of our girls was actually spat at, and another few had to deal with unwanted attention/groping. The guide wasn’t around when any of this was happening, which just made it worse. It felt like there was very little consideration for the safety and comfort of a group of women, which is really concerning on a night out like this. We complained on the night and were told to email for a refund as the manager was “aware”, the staff were completely blasé about the situations we'd experienced. We emailed on the 23rd and have had no reply since. Just feels like we paid for something completely different to what we got. Wouldn’t book again if the night was complimentary! Had a great time. Best crawl ever. The guide(Subbu) was most funny and great guy. Will definitely book again. Price per person: £1–10 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
