We had a wonderful lunch at On The Rocks restaurant at the Oberoi Mauritius. We travelled there especially from a nearby resort after reading positive reviews and recommendations from friends, and we were not disappointed. The setting was great - perched right by the ocean, with a stunning view & relaxed atmosphere. The food was excellent - seafood was super fresh, bread and ice creams were all handmade at the restaurant. Everything we tried was cooked perfectly and showcased the quality of the ingredients. The menu had a great variety, and it was clear that a lot of care went into preparation and presentation. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable and genuinely welcoming without ever feeling intrusive. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. Special thanks goes to Ankush who made our meal so memorable. We would highly recommend dining at On The Rocks and would definitely visit again next time we are in Mauritius.
