Cave creek Oregano's is such a fun place. Love the atmosphere, pizza is great, I love their generous fresh parmesan showers. We have visited this specific location several times. Always happy with the pizzas. We've tried their pizza cookie twice and both times we were not impressed. The middle was cold, soggy and raw while the outer edge was hot and crispy. Yes, there is ice cream on it and it was a scoop, not melted or runny, and the middle of the cookie was not even warm, middle of pan not warm and the soggy soggy. Meh. Not for us but we will be back for the pizza for sure. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Dietary restrictions: Accommodating to the allergies and dietary restrictions we have.

Thank you for the kind words, Leaf! We're thrilled you love our atmosphere and pizzas, especially those generous fresh parmesan showers! We appreciate you being regulars at our Cave Creek location. We're sorry to hear the pizza cookie didn't meet expectations on your visits. The temperature and texture issues you described aren't what we aim for, and your feedback helps us improve. We'll share this with our team to ensure better consistency. Please give us a call at (480)-889-0386 so we can have a chance to win you back as a guest Kind regards, Nicholas Kucera

From the moment we (myself and my 2 kids) walked in, we could feel the rudeness from everyone that worked there. I'm not sure if that was from my sun burned body, the half gallon of milk I had in a grocery bag (didn't want it to spoil out in the heat), it being 7pm on a Friday night (not busy at all) or it is just simply the rude attitude the staff has. After the hostess had to go check with someone before seating us and then deciding where she wanted to finally seat us which was all the way in the back in the corner so all of the staff could give us dirty looks as we walked by them. As we ordered our food, my youngest asked for a ball of dough to play with while we waited for our food which she never brought to us. The pizza came out burnt and our drinks were never refilled. I've never been so disappointed in a restaurants service as I was tonight. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

For this, we sincerely apologize. We would greatly appreciate if you could email us a good contact phone number to cavecreek_1017@oreganos.com, and we'll reach out to you at our earliest convenience. We go to Oregano's a few times a year when we are in the mood for a heavy, cheesey deep-dish pizza. The sauce is good and the cheese is so good! We normally get a salad to split and never finish it. The pizza is always enough for at least 2 meals for the 2 of us and it heats up in the oven better than most pizza. The Cave Creek location always has friendly, energetic wait staff!
