Visiting from London and tried Maison first for the Une matcha which was so good and authentic - handwisked! Went again the next day for brunch and everything was amazing. I highly recommend turkish eggs - the sourdough is cooked in the spices and is amazing! The steak & eggs is also great. Service is nothing less than perfect. Mili was super attentive and helpful. Definitely will be coming back. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Brunch Price per person: £20–30

Visited Maison Cafe with a friend and overall had a nice experience. The atmosphere was relaxed, friendly and welcoming, and the food was tasty. I had the shakshuka, while my friend had the steak & cheese sandwich with chips. Both dishes were enjoyable, but the portions could be improved. The steak & cheese came with a very small amount of chips, and the shakshuka only came with two slices of sourdough, which wasn’t enough to finish the dish. I asked for more bread and they kindly brought out two slices of brioche, but I still had plenty of shakshuka left. The cold-pressed juice (£6) was a bit disappointing as it was just a small 250ml bottled juice. I was expecting it to be freshly made for that price. The bottled water was fine. Overall, the food was good and the staff were friendly, but I think adding a few more chips with the sandwich and a bit more bread with the shakshuka would make the experience much better.
